Arrow Lakes Environmental Stewardship Society (ALESS) is dedicated to protecting, restoring, and celebrating the ecosystems of the Arrow Lakes region. We focus on community-driven conservation projects that enhance biodiversity, protect water quality, and foster coexistence between people and wildlife. ALESS is equally committed to public education on environmental issues and the local ecological and cultural history of the region, helping residents understand the deep connections between land, water, and community.
A thriving Arrow Lakes region where people, wildlife, and ecosystems coexist in balance, guided by Indigenous knowledge, community stewardship, and sustainable environmental practices.
