Randal Macnair

Randal Macnair lives in Fernie where he has lived and worked in various capacities for 30 years. Most recently Randal spent 8 years as the Elk Valley Conservation Coordinator for Wildsight and continues to serve on the Elk Valley Wildsight board. Randal served as Fernie Mayor and Councillor for 15 years and on the board of the Regional District of East Kootenay. Prior to moving to the Kootenays he worked as curator at the Sidney Marine Mammal and Historical Museum as well as U’mista Cultural Centre. In a volunteer capacity Randal served on multiple boards over the years including the College of the Rockies, the Fernie and District Arts Council, Wildsight Regional, Fernie Citizens Housing Society and more.
