From delivering year seven of “Kootenay Connect Priority Places” projects in seven priority areas in the Kootenays, to co-hosting a 5-part winter webinar series with the Columbia Mountains Institute of Applied Ecology on the theme of ‘Lessons for the next chapter of Restoration & Stewardship in the Columbia Basin’, and administration and delivery of the Columbia Valley Local Conservation Fund and the RDCK Local Conservation Fund, the 2025/2026 year was another highly productive year for Kootenay Conservation Program.
