Bull River – Lower Norbury Creek (The Nature Trust of BC): This property is located near the community of Bull River, and is part of the Bull River complex of provincial and the Nature Trust of BC conservation lands. The addition of this 86.5-hectare (214-acre) property secures important habitat for species at risk and dry grassland ecosystems. The property is located in a biogeoclimatic zone of provincial conservation concern — the Kootenay dry mild Interior Douglas Fir — and is also considered important winter range habitat for blue-listed Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep, elk, and deer.
