Description:
This report is a preliminary assessment to illustrate the importance of how these wetland complexes function, rely on current water sources, adjacent forests and other ecosystem types to sustain their hydrologic integrity. This landscape-level assessment has revealed that tailored wetland assessments for the identified study areas will be of value for knowledge flow to vested stakeholders in land-use planning and the potential for identifying future nature-based conservation opportunities.
