Program Assistant – Erin Bates

Erin brings nine years of Kootenay conservation experience to KCP, most recently as Executive Director of the Central Kootenay Invasive Species Society. She holds a B.Sc. in Biology from the University of Northern BC and is a Registered Professional Agrologist. Erin draws on her experience in grant writing, multi-funder project management, and outreach to support all aspects of KCP’s mission. She has lived in Nelson for nineteen years, and outside of work she can be found on the Nordic ski trails, hiking and climbing in the surrounding mountains, and cooking up sustainable, healthy meals.
