Lake Watchers
The Friends of Kootenay Lake Stewardship Society (FOKLSS) needs more eyes on Kootenay Lake! FOKLSS believes that in order to best protect Kootenay Lake and its rich natural capital, more data needs to be collected to better understand the lake.
The Lake Watchers Program has three focus areas: water quality monitoring, wildlife, and pollution. If you see something on or around the lake that is in line with one of these focus areas, let FOKLSS know by filling out their online Observations Form, or contact FOKLSS to learn more about how you can help protect Kootenay Lake.
