Our Mission:
RSEA is designed as a capacity building umbrella organization for environmental project support for administration of grant funds. RSEA does not pursue projects, but supports individuals or groups that need the support of a society to do so.
Our Vision:
RSEA’s vision is to serve the whole Lower Columbia Region including the communities of Trail, Fruitvale and Castlegar.
The Rossland Society for Environmental Action (RSEA) is a non-profit society formed in 2013 by a group of Rossland citizens who felt there was a need for an organization to support environmental projects with administrative and advisory support.
Although based in Rossland, RSEA’s vision is to serve the whole Lower Columbia Region including the communities of Trail, Fruitvale and Castlegar.
The founding members have been involved with many environmental initiatives in the community including Streamkeepers, Rossland REAL Food, the Rossland Community Garden, the Sustainability Commission, Invasive Plant Initiatives and the list goes on…..
RSEA has developed a comprehensive set of policies and procedures to guide the organization in an efficient and fair manner to all that work with RSEA.
