To enhance and maintain an environment in which populations of wildlife can thrive, and to preserve and promote the sports of shooting, archery, hunting, and fishing, and enhancement of wildlife habitat.

The Fernie Rod and Gun Club is dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the sports of shooting, archery, hunting, and fishing this includes, the enhancement of wildlife habitat. The club seeks to maximize hunting and fishing opportunities while encouraging a healthy and sustainable environment. The Fernie Rod and Gun Club is BC’s oldest organization of its kind and continues to have a proud membership of men, women and their families representing a broad cross section of the community.
