Flathead River Ranch (Nature Conservancy of Canada): This 78-hectare (192-acre) property is located on the B.C.-Montana border, within the expansive wilderness area known as the Flathead River Valley. In 2011, the Nature Conservancy of Canada, along with US partner The Nature Conservancy, assisted the B.C. Government in implementing the Flathead Watershed Area Conservation Act. This new legislation assists the Province of BC in maintaining and enhancing high conservation standards to protect the rich diversity of plant and animal life located in the valley.
