KCP hosted our fourth Conservation Action Forum in Fernie on May 29 focused on the Elk Valley. This Forum brought together participants from a broad range of backgrounds to identify conservation targets and threats as well as shared priorities for conservation actions in the coming three years. Highlights included “speed” (4-minute) presentations from scientists on 10 conservation topics, the opportunity to network with many diverse organizations, and small group planning focusing on four conservation actions.
