Landowner Outreach Workshops
Caring for Land and Water: Improving Outreach to Private Landowners in the Kootenays is a workshop being offered by KCP this October that will explore how to more effectively and collectively engage and support private landowners interested in taking care of their property.
One of the important roles KCP plays in our region is to strengthen collaboration among stewardship groups and resource managers in order to achieve positive benefits for private land conservation. This free workshop will be offered in both the East and West Kootenays, and is open to local organizations interested in exploring better ways to collaborate, coordinate and address gaps.
Caring for Land and Water: Improving Outreach to Private Landowners in the Kootenays will be held:
October 19, 2016 from 9am – 4pm in Nelson at the Nelson & District Chamber of Commerce
October 20, 2016 from 9am – 4pm in Cranbrook at the Aboriginal Gathering Place at College of the Rockies
Space is limited. Pre-registration is required. Registration priority will be given to KCP Partners until October 1st. Not sure if your organization is a Partner? Click here to see our partner list.
